2 Packages Oxtails
2 Packages Marrow Bones,
1 Beef Tripe
1 Package Beef Tendons
1 Package Beef Flank
Pho spice packet
2 Tablespoon Mushroom seasoning
3 Tablespoon Beef broth mix
2 Tablespoon Sugar
Vegetables and Condiments
Hot Chili oil
London Broil or beef of your choosing
Rice Noodles (I prefer banh pho tuoi because it only take 15 seconds to cook)
FIll stock pot with water and bring to a boil. While water is boiling, heat pho spices in a pan until fragrant and put in cheese cloth. Over open fire, roast onion and ginger until slightly charred. Remove from stove and set aside.
When water comes to a boil, add marrow bones, oxtails, tendons, beef tripe, beef flank, spices, onion and ginger to stock pot. Lower heat to medium. Check stock pot constantly to remove oil or foam build up. As broth level gets low, just add water to original fill line.
After 2 hours, add the mushroom seasoning, sugar and beef broth mix.
Start chopping your vegetables, slicing your beef and beef meatballs.
After 1 hour, add the beef meatball to the stock pot and cooking for an additional 30 minutes.
In small pot, add water and bring to a boil. Once water is boiling, add a handful of rice noodles and cook for 15 seconds. Take rice noodles out and place in a bowl. Add sliced beef, beef tripe, beef tendon, beef flank, sliced onion and pour broth into the bowl. Add vegetables and condiments of your choice and enjoy! #pho
*Marrow and Oxtail can also be added in the bowl if you like*
